Spoiled

March 10th: 9am wakeup. Oops! Back to sleep until 12:30pm (Day Lights Saving already adjusted). Downstairs to be greeted by Kimber cleaning. I snacked on a banana with peanut butter for fuel for the run. Out the door by 1:30pm for a 11+ (78:46) mile loop. Stopped twice for a bathroom break. It was a nice rolling hills loop in Peterborough. Passed by a few farms and some scenic views.

Back to stretch, foam roll, and ice the calves. Pain free on the run for the 2nd day in a row (and 2nd day in a row rocking just shorts). Good things and still taking all the precautionary measures to maximize recovery. Chilled on the couch while Kimber showered and got ready for our outing to Keene. I showered and grabbed a couple Thin Mints from the cabinet.

Huge fro. Notice the outfit (pajamas pants and dress shirt).

Over to Keene by 5pm. TJ Maxx, Staples, Target and Da Choppa. A golf short sleeve polo, chocolate caramel kettlecorn (for the desk at work), and some tortilla chips seasoned with spices. Da Choppa for ingredients for the Pinterest recipe Kimber found.

Back to Peterborough to prepare the caprese lasagna roll-ups. Wicked good. Short prep time and 30 minutes in the oven. Ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, roma tomatoes, and basil. Mmmm. Stayed at Kimber's for the night and leaving in the morning for work.

The layers.

62 miles for the week. A solid week overall. No real workout, but still got the miles in. New Bedford next weekend and ready for the stacked competition. Should be a fun one. Spoiled with the warm weather all weekend. The good thing is that I can go for a run right after work and not about worrying about throwing on a reflector vest. Woohoo!
