November 5th: 6:20am wakeup. Bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats for breakfast. Lunch made. Double decker PB&J. Cape Cod sea salt and cracked pepper potato chips. Odwalla bar and Chobani Greek yogurt (courtesy of the race refreshments). Pretzels. Banana. Smooth day overall. Carpooled with Goupil to work and nabbed one of the last spots in the front parking lot (closest walk). Easy/productive day at work.
Home by 4:30pm. Run with Derrick at 5:15pm. 7++ miles (52:00) of the normal loop. Cut the 2nd half short through the Shen High School fields. I almost didn't make it back to the apartment in time for the bathroom. Too close for comfort. Stretched, foam roll, and showered first to air out the bathroom for Goupil.
I didn't know what I wanted for dinner so I just started making food. Steamed some broccoli (Yeah, I know how to spell it Dom). Sautéed up some mushrooms and onions. Cooked up some chicken with Italian dressing, chili powder, and Sweet Baby Ray's BBQ sauce. The best way to eat all this is to toss it all in a wrap with a bunch of cheese. Mmm.
Watched some Hulk on television. Frozenish chocolate milk for dessert. Bed by 10:30 or so.
Quality run and legs were just tired from yesterday. Not much soreness.
